International Max Planck Research School on Earth System Modelling Funded PhD Program
Our PhD Program is open to applicants holding a Master's degree (with written thesis) or a German 'Diplom' in physics, geophysical sciences, (incl. meteorology and oceanography), chemistry, ecology, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or political science. Also students currently still working on their MSc thesis are encouraged to apply. The selection procedure includes an interview of short-listed candidates.
Online registration for our Call for applications for the Year 2013 is possible from 4 February - 11 March.
(Application documents can be submitted until 18 March.)
Doctoral positions may start as early as June or in September; financial support will be offered in the form of a stipend or a doctoral contract (duration up to 3 years).
PhD topics will be finalized upon admission
